Do you have extensive experience with both workshop fabrication and or site based Mechanical Construction on minerals processing and materials handling plants?

With the mega projects in decline in Western Australia our client has been successfully winning mid-size contracts with an impressive list of clients throughout WA.

We are searching the Perth market for an experienced Mechanical Fabrication Project Manager who has experience working in the SMP sector on mining related projects. You will be responsible from taking projects from early concept stage, tender through to successful fabrication and potentially some site management although not in a FIFO capacity.

You will take full control of all operational, commercial and contractual aspects while continuing to build long lasting client relationships for on-going work opportunities.

As Fabrication Project Manager you will be responsible for the successful completion of projects overseeing all operational, commercial and contractual aspects.

The successful candidate will display the following skills and experience:

• Trade or Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management
• 5+ years’ experience working as a Fabrication or Workshop Manager on Heavy Industrial Construction Projects involving mechanical, structural and piping on resource sector project.
• Experience on $5m - $50m + resources projects, ideally SMP & E&I
• Experience taking projects from conception through to successful completion.
• Ability to effectively manage multiple teams
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
