At Sparesbox, our priority is our customer. We are currently recruiting for a motivated Purchasing Officer to join our team on a full-time basis, based in West Footscray, Melbourne. You will be responsible for ordering items to help us fulfil orders! To fit our team, we need you to be punctual with a high attention to detail.

Skills and experience
What will you be doing?
Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Ordering items in for our eCommerce and Service customers
- Following up delayed/outstanding orders with suppliers and tracking issues with suppliers
- Assisting with analysis on purchasing related projects for parts, freight, packaging, etc.
- Helping our Customer Experience team with customer enquiries about product availability and delayed orders
- Helping our Fulfillment team with delivery errors
- Collecting data for supplier scorecards
- Assisting Returns Associate with generating and processing supplier returns
- Supporting Purchasing Manager with analysis of stocked items
- Communicating with suppliers on project-related/high-level issues
- Identifying and implementing improvements in the purchasing function for both Service and eCommerce cases.
