Nick Scali Furniture was established over 50 years ago and is now one of Australia's largest importers of quality furniture, carefully sourcing its products from around the world. We import directly from some of the largest and most respected manufacturers globally, constant growth has meant excess of 5,000 containers are brought to Australia annually.
Areas of Accountability and Responsibility:
- Answering enquiries from customers and internal staff regarding delivery
- Provide knowledgeable, courteous and helpful customer service
- Ensure customer satisfaction in every transaction
- Trouble shoot, problem solve and offer the best possible solution to customer queries
- Assess severity of customer service issues with the appropriate sense of urgency
- Prepare and enter despatch information into the DISTRIB computer system with very high accuracy and in a timely manner
- Coordinate and manage delivery jobs for drivers and provide administrative support
- Escalate all incidents as required in accordance with current work procedures
- Report and log customer concerns or requirements to staff in other departments in an appropriate and timely manner to minimise customer dissatisfaction
Essential Criteria
- Experience in customer service or within a call centre environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Detail oriented
- Comfortable with computers
- Ability to maintain composure and work effectively under pressure and deadlines
Desirable
- Similar experience and proven track record in the retail furniture industry
- Knowledge of DISTRIB system
