As our Inventory Management Leader your role will proactively monitor and manage AACo’s inventory position. This role will ensure order fulfilment through the effective management of inventory levels across multiple locations holding AACo products, both internally and externally.

 

This role will also be accountable for the development of information systems and business processes to support the optimisation of inventory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Track and update inventory levels for AACo products across internal and external locations
  • Review the effectiveness of current inventory related business practices and identify opportunities for improvement. These include formation systems, business processes
  • Develop information systems and business processes to support the optimisation of inventory
  • Ensure physical inventory movements match system data
  • Provide to the Sales & Marketing team on a timely and regular basis; current inventory information, net of existing sales orders, future production expectation information, net of existing sales orders in addition to any other inventory related reporting as agreed from time to time
  • Provide reports to the Executive Team on any inventory related matter as requested
  • inventory information system integration with the key financial systems and reliance on, and procurement of, 3rd party services
  • Monitor current inventory levels as well as future production expectations and ensure all changes are accurate, reconciled and accounted for.
  • Capture sales orders and invoices to monitor net inventory levels and ensure they are processed in JDE
  • Implement information systems and business processes to enable the above
  • Investigate and reconcile stock variances and discrepancies
  • Liaise closely with processors and distributors to ensure all product is captured, accounted for and accurate
  • Ensure cattle are movements are in accordance to the relevant regulation and industry best practice
  • Some travel will be required

 

The official stuff – Skills and Experience

  • Previous roles in Inventory management is essential
  • Demonstrated experience managing stock across multiple locations
  • Experience utilising inventory management systems, and leading the development of system improvements
  • Demonstrated experience influencing senior leaders to drive business outcomes
  • Proven ability to work across multiple business divisions to achieve successful outcomes
  • Strong computer skills
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Strong attention to detail
