Petrogas is a wholesale fuel and lubricants distribution business based in Altona with regional depots spread throughout Victoria.

About the role

Attention to detail is critical in the role ensuring the correct products (Automotive Lubricants) and quantities on invoices are loaded and delivered to customer sites.

 Key responsibilities of this role will include:

• Receiving, picking & packing of orders
• Reporting stock levels to Depot Supervisor
• Forklift driver including daily check list
• Other duties including warehouse & logistics, operational duties as required
• Undertake all duties in a safe, responsible and courteous manner
• Practice safe and correct manual handling techniques
• Correctly present paperwork as per company procedures
• Communicate and report on customer orders to sales team
• Maintain a safe and clean environment following correct safety procedures at all times.

Skills and experience

The successful candidate will:

• Hold a current forklift license
• Hold a current MR class driver's license
• Effective computer skills
• Must be physically fit to perform manual handling
• Ability to organize, prioritize and successfully complete daily tasks.
• Excellent attention to detail and self-motivated.
• Comply with personal protective equipment requirements and other safe working practices.
• Pass drug and alcohol tests
• Customer focused, professional and good at building interpersonal relationships
• Ability to work in a team environment
