Our client is a distributor of devices and equipment relating to the medical industry. Their modern offices are located on Sydney's Northern Beaches and they offer a friendly culture, hard working teams, and excellent support. They are looking for an experienced and dedicated Warehouse Team Leader to join their busy team.

The successful applicant will effectively lead and manage the replenishment and dispatch teams and drive improvements in the distribution facility. They will also ensure DIFOT to their customers and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

They will manage, motivate and support the fulfillment team across the following areas;

• Pick, Pack and Dispatch all sales orders and stock transfers
• Ensure all orders are dispatched and delivered within required time-frames
• Oversee dispatch of international orders
• Daily capacity planning
• Training warehouse officers
• Work closely with Receiving and Inventory to ensure efficient and effective warehouse operations at all times
• Monthly KPI reporting of efficiency
• Drive continuous improvement, particularly across the following; paperless picking, packaging automation and outbound freight

The successful applicant will possess;

• Degree qualifications in Supply Chain / Logistics or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years working experience in a warehouse environment
• Experience using SAP (Ideally Warehouse, WMS & TMS modules)
• Ability to motivate staff and encourage the team
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to perform under pressure
• Strong practical knowledge of warehouse best practices and lean principles
• Forklift Licence preferred
• RF scanning or pick to voice experience
