A successful, dynamic and privately owned Freight Forwarding organisation is seeking a hands on Import Sea Freight Supervisor to join the team.
Position:
- Managing & Handling the daily Sea Freight Operations
- Liaising with Shipping Lines, Airlines, Customs, Customers and Staff to ensure timely movement of cargo
- Assist in Staff management
- Work strategically with the Operations Manager to ensure 100% customer satisfaction
- Liaising with overseas offices
- Following up queries from clients
Requirements:
- + 5 years experience in freight forwarding environment (predominantly in Sea freight )
- Strong written & verbal communication skills
- Ability to 'think outside the box' to create workable creative solutions
- Strong attention to detail
- Dedicated and committed who leads by example
