As part of CCS Group, CCS Fabrication supply’s our construction projects with ductwork, prefabricated modules and fabrication support to ensure our the site teams have the highest quality materials to install on time.
With the relocation to a new premises and recent significant contract awards, CCS Fabrication is currently undergoing a rapid expansion of operations which has included the installation of the fully automated duct line and other key machinery.
An exciting opportunity is now available at CCS Fabrication for the role of Factory Manager with a successful candidate requiring the following qualifications:
- A minimum of 10 years’ experience in the HVAC sheet metal Industry.
- A minimum of 5 years factory management experience.
- 1st class Sheetmetal worker or cert 3 engineering – fabrication trade qualification desirable.
- Ability to estimate mechanical services and understand complex drawings/specifications desireable
- Attention to detail with management of Quality systems and fabrication ITPs.
- Ability to plan fabrication schedules and meet deadlines.
- Advanced experience using Automated coil lines, plasma cutters and general duct fabrication machinery will be required.
- Ability to manage and implement company HSEQ policies and procedures in a factory environment.
Working Hours are 38 hrs minimum per week with occasional overtime to meet operational requirements. CCS Fabrication is located in Fyshwick, Canberra, with the support of engineers, construction management and office staff on site.
