Our Client based in the North of Melbourne is a very well-known food production company, they grow, pack and market fresh produce, and they supply their product to all Supermarket Chains across Australia. They work incredibly hard to deliver quality product to its customers, they also export their product around the world.
They have a vacancy for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor in their Prepack division. This role is for immediate start, full time hours and is to ensure the on time dispatch of orders. This includes, ensuring stock is received and dispatched to and from prepack & the warehouse, maintaining the cold chain process throughout, receiving and updating orders for production and dispatch, organising labour effectively.
The duties:
- Provide weekly labour plans, ensuring that the budget is met
- Provide daily production plans that meet the requirements of external customers and enable successful production planning, while complying with company policy
- Efficient Labour utilisation - managing perm staff and casual
- Resolve daily work flow issues ensuring efficient running of lines - problem solve
- Responsible for counting, storing, replenishing, and rotating stock in the warehouse or stockroom on a daily basis
- Operate forklifts and other plant and machinery in a safe and efficient manner
- Load and Unload trucks when required
- Perform reporting and inspections
The Person
- Must have experience in a similar role
- Effective team leading and building skills
- Must have Forklift license
- Must have high attention to detail and be proactive
- Have strong literacy and numeracy skills
- Be proficient with computers
- Have excellent time management and communication skills
- Must have PR and or citizen
