The Client

This is an exciting opportunity to join the warehouse operations of a progressive, multinational logistics and supply chain provider based in Sydney's western suburbs.

The Position

In this varied role you will be responsible for the overall management of a major account. Your responsibilities will include; 

• Lead and manage a team including; ensuring effective communication of department's objectives, recruitment of staff, conducting performance reviews and managing poor performance 
• Actively manage the account by providing regular communication and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction is maintained 
• KPI monitoring and reporting to the customer 
• Maximise warehouse efficiency by ensuring effective resource planning 
• Oversee inventory management and refine cycle count program to assist in the reduction of discrepancies 
• Identify and report on opportunities for continuous improvement 
• Manage client billing processes 
• Staff training and development 
• Conduct safety meetings and ensure all Workplace Health and Safety processes are being followed with proactive involvement from all employees 

The Requirements

• Experience in a similar role within a contract logistics or 3PL environment is essential 
• Proven people management and leadership skills 
• Exceptional customer service skills 
• Well developed communication skills
• Ability to conduct client meetings and present to senior managers
