Logistics Allocator
ResourceCo Material Solutions is a growing business operating within the earthmoving and civil construction industry, providing material supply, disposal and transport solutions. Our business has enjoyed strong growth and is now looking to add an experienced Allocator to assist in the continued growth of the business.
ResourceCo Logistics is part of the ResourceCo Group a recognised industry leader in Environmental and Resource Recovery Solutions, with a successful history spanning 20 years. ResourceCo employs over 400 staff throughout 5 states and 3 countries.
We are looking for an experienced Allocator to work closely with our existing team to take ownership for the following key responsibilities;
- Handle a high volume of calls from customers and contractors to ensure excellent customer service outcomes are achieved
- Facilitate the daily allocation of material import and export bookings
- Utilize in house software to ensure new orders, bookings, rates, and material listings databases are maintained in an accurate and timely manner
- Coordinate the administration protocols associated with Contractor Recruitment and Registration in accordance with company and statutory requirements
- Industry networking to leverage relationships with existing internal and external customers, whilst also seeking to continually identify and secure new opportunities
- Ensure best practice and industry bench marked norms are achieved with regard to Safety, Environment & Quality associated with the companies ISO accreditation program
Our preferred candidate will be able to demonstrate a work history highlighted by the following attributes;
- proven ability to work in a dynamic and fast paced work environment
- relevant troubleshooting and problem solving experience
- knowledgeable in industry specific OH&S requirements,
- work collaboratively in a small close knit team,
- possess a strong work ethic, with references,
- being an effective communicator with excellent organisation skills and an innate attention to detail
- sound understanding of Microsoft Suite
