An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Manufacturing Production Manager to join a business in Ballarat going through a growth phase.
Responsibilities will include:
- Managing Production related implementation of the new ERP system
- Manage planning, scheduling and co-ordination of production staff and processes
- Meeting production order customer deadlines within allocated cost and requirements
- Ability to liaise across all departments effectively
- Assist with Lean/5S and ongoing improvement processes
- Ability to be hands-on
- Adhere to and manage OH&S policies and procedures
To be successful in the role you will have the following skills and attributes:
- Proven experience in a similar Production Management role in Manufacturing
- Technical, engineering skills including reading and interpreting drawings
- Strong IT skills including scheduling and spreadsheets
- Experience with OH&S
- Ability to self-manage, mult-task and meet deadlines
- Ability to make effective decisions under pressure
- Ability to communicate clearly with staff at all levels
- Excellent time management skills
The successful candidate will possess the above skills and have the ability to take on new challenges that will help take this organisation to the next level. The right calibre candidate will have Engineering and Parts reporting to them and will be remunerated accordingly.
