The Role
Quality Systems Manager will be responsible for:
- Coordination and implementation of prescribed Quality procedures and Approved Operating Systems & Protocols throughout the Group of Companies.
- Compliance with procedures by internal and external stakeholders encompassing all facets of the business to ISO9001-2015 standards
- Audit and compliance to Quality procedures by Contractors, Suppliers and Vendors in conjunction with the Organisations standards
- Execution of Internal Audit Findings
- Addressing findings from 3rd Party External Audits
- Updating/Writing Procedures and Work Instructions
As the company is a quality driven organisation with a strong focus on continuous improvement, it is imperative that the successful applicant has had experience in working at organisations with a strong culture in continuous improvement and a focus on quality.
Candidates with the following attributes, abilities and experience are encouraged to apply
Essential:
- Proven experience in Quality Assurance Management and/or Continuous Improvement;
- Lead Auditor/Internal Audit ISO 9001-2015 qualifications;
- Strong leadership, articulate communicator and problem solving attitude
- Be able to understand complex customer quality issues requiring corrective actions
- Report on Customer Survey and address the corrective actions.
- Hands on experience with the implementation
- Able to work under extreme pressure·
- Effective Management Skills
- Be able to travel
Desirable:
- Tertiary qualifications in an appropriate discipline
- Experience in the development of a Quality Management System
- Previous experience in a field operations within a technical/mechanical discipline
- Previous experience in an industrial products/engineered products business/market
