The Manildra Group is a major force in Australia’s agricultural and food industries and is the largest user of wheat for industrial purposes in Australia. Manildra Energy operates the most advanced industry technology to process quality flour from our three flour mills and supply domestic and export markets with a range of gluten, starch, glucose, ethanol and stockfeed products to a variety of industries from food and confectionery to brewing and building.
Reporting to the QA Coordinator, this role offers an excellent opportunity to develop and secure your career with an Australian-owned Company committed to complete customer satisfaction. The successful applicant will be working with a dedicated professional Quality team and will ensure the effective functioning of the Plant by monitoring quality systems, policies and procedures.
With a formal tertiary qualification in Food Technology, Chemistry, and / or a similar field, you must also be experienced in Food Safety and hold HACCP certification and ideally be a qualified lead auditor.
This role will be responsible for:
- Undertaking internal and external audit programs;
- Ensure that all mandatory requirements of maintenance and improvement of the certification processes to systems such as ISO9001:2015, ISO14001:2015 and SQF are met within the business and that an effective document control and quality records system is maintained;
- Develop, deliver and coordinate appropriate training modules for the management system procedures to ensure that employee awareness is maintained;
- Assist with required reports for the business;
- Develop and maintain company procedures and documents where required.
