Do you have solid experience and knowledge with both domestic and international shipments? If yes, then do not delay moving forward with this profile building appointment.
Best known for their food processing innovation, design and equipment manufacturing this global group with headquarters located on the Southside of Brisbane are looking to make an immediate appointment to their logistics and shipping team.
You will describe yourself as being "hands-on" coordinating the packing and delivery of equipment for both domestic and international shipments in line with the required delivery schedules.
You will enjoy the pace of your day, with 80% of your time spent working with internal and external stakeholders in the workshop and yard, where goods are landed and customer freight is packed ready for shipping. The additional 20% of your time will see you supporting the office team with the delivery of accurate shipping and equipment records, reviewing costs associated with packing and shipping, and preparing packing lists for parts and equipment being shipped.
To ensure your success you will demonstrate experience with but not limited to:
- Experience with domestic and international shipping
- Experience working with transport companies and freight forwarders
- Ability to work conscientiously and demonstrate initiative, planning and prioritising your work in order to meet deadlines
- Advanced interpersonal communication skills
- Intermediate computer skills
- Forklift Licence (desirable but not essential)
- A commitment to safety, productivity, quality and teamwork
