Cordina Chicken Farms is an Australian owned family business with over 70 years' experience in the Poultry industry.  From our offices in Western Sydney we process, prepare and distribute chicken meat products.

An exciting opportunity has opened up for a DC Operations Manager - Night to manage the day to day operations of the distribution and warehousing function.

Reporting to the National Distribution and Transport Manager, this position would ideally suit someone with extensive experience in a cold store dispatch environment and who is looking to take the next step in their career. 

Responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to:

• Hands on supervision of day to day operation of the distribution teams across multiple shifts including labour management & budgets;
• Warehouse management including staffing, rostering, stock rotation and order picking; and
• Transport management including interstate line-haul, country and route delivery runs.

The right candidate must be available to work on weekends. 

The ideal candidate will have the ability to work under pressure and within tight time frames, have obtained a certificate III in Distribution and / or Warehousing and have previous experience in despatch. Using your excellent organisation and multi-tasking skills you will drive process improvement and develop a committed team.  A great opportunity to really make a difference.

Applicants with previous experience in the Poultry Processing industry and Food Manufacturing industry will be highly regarded.
