Our client, located in Laverton North a market leader of chemical distribution in Australia are currently seeking an experienced labourer with a forklift license preferably with experience handling dangerous and hazardous goods to do a casual ongoing assignment with rotating 12 hour shifts potentially to become permanent.
Key Duties and Responsibilities include (but not limited to):-
- Loading and unloading trucks with forklift
- Order picking and preparing
- 25kg bag lifting
- 12 hour rotating shifts between morning and night
To be eligible for the role you must have the following skills/experience:-
- Minimum 2 years’ experience of Forklift driving
- Chemical handling/dangerous goods handling experience preferred but not essential
- LF license
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, read MSDS and material picking documents
- Ability to lift 25kg
- A strong safety focus in a fast paced environment.
- Hold a current Drivers’ Licence and have reliable transport
