Job description
As one of the world's top 3 global air freight forwarders, the Airfreight Import Supervisor in our Sydney branch will provide oversight and leadership to the Airfreight team . This role is permanent full time working in a supportive team environment in a global organisation.
Your tasks and responsibilities
With a background in the Airfreight industry, you will have an opportunity to shine as you effectively oversee all aspects of the Airfreight Import department from ensuring daily processing of all documentation, freight and any other related requirements are met and ensuring ongoing and consistent customer satisfaction through effective and efficient responses to customer enquiries, issues and problems. You will be coaching and mentoring your team members and ensuring all staff are cross trained within our Airfreight department.
Your skills and experiences
- Minimum 5 years' experience in the airfreight industry
- Proven history of operational management in the freight forwarding industry
- Demonstrated drive and commitment
- A strong focus on continuous improvement
- 3+ years proven people management and leadership skills
- Great communications skills both verbal and written
- Excellent organisational skills
- Good attention to detail
