We have laboratories in Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney, Perth, Townsville, Wagga Wagga and Rockhampton, with the head office and main reference laboratory being located in Brisbane. We are renowned for our high standard of service to a large customer base, where turnaround times and communication with our clients are pivotal to our success.
We require a full time Store Person to join our Brisbane Procurement Team. You will assist with the management of the warehouse. This role involves duties as follows:
Specifically, your duties will include, but not be limited to:
- Coordinate the receipt of all stock, consumable goods and client samples delivered to the laboratory
- Assist with the delivery of samples to the Sample Management Team
- Delivering supplies ordered to the appropriate parties
- Labelling stock items and storing them to the assigned location
- Handling documents - filing, scanning and copying or retrieval
- Update of stock control and inventory databases
- Provide stock and inventory report to the Purchasing Officer
- Raise service POs as required and provide service/maintenance support to the team
- General housekeeping duties
- Other related duties as directed by the Purchasing Officer and/or Procurement Manager
The successful candidate will need to be available on the last Saturday of each month to complete our company's monthly stocktake audit.
- To be considered for this role you must have the following experience:
- Minimum 1 year experience in a store facilities
- Effective communication skills
- Strong data entry skills
- High attention to detail
- Experienced user of Microsoft packages (e.g. MS Word, Excel)
