Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer (COO), we have an exciting opportunity for a Supply Chain Planner to join the team based in Macquarie Park.
About the role
- Ensure quick and maximum productivity based on seasonal marketing demand and promotion
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure processing new product on time
- Awareness of safety and cost management when purchasing and arranging delivery
- Optimise inventory level for current products
- Handle communications and negotiations with external suppliers
- Prepare and submit daily and weekly reports to COO
- Optimise warehouse utilisation and warehouse condition maintenance
Skills and experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain or related
- 8+ years' experience in supplements and skin care industries in a leadership role
- 4+ years' experience in new product management
- 3+ years' experience in packaging materials management and sourcing resource
- Familiarity with safety and procedural best practices in SCM
- Experience with ERP programs (intermediate level preferred)
- Ability to lead, train and mentor employees on a personal level
- Proficiency in English and Chinese (mandarin) is a plus
- Lean six sigma Green belt is a plus
- Australian resident with unlimited working rights within Australia, no overseas applicants.
