What's the opportunity?

We are currently searching for an expert in Logistics and Supply Chain to take on a lead role within our evolving business. The role will support management and governance across Clean TeQ’s Sunrise project, ensuring successful supply and logistics operations at optimal costs. This will include involve identifying, developing, optimising and implementing all relevant strategies in conduction with the broader team.

The is a full time permanent role, initially based in Perth with a view of relocating to Parkes, NSW as the project progresses.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Provide technical expertise regarding acquisition, warehousing, material management, and distribution/transportation and associated infrastructure to meet Clean TeQ Sunrise’s Supply, Logistics and Infrastructure needs and demands.
  • Define the system and resource requirements for the supply chain as a business process.
  • Develop and implement logistics and supply chain strategic project plan and design the infrastructure to meet Clean TeQ Sunrise’s operational requirements.
  • Lead the development of the ordering, purchasing and billing processes, policies, procedures, and work towards best practices.
  • Ensure high quality, cost effective service contracts are prepared, awarded and maintained.
  • Establish effective business relationships with suppliers as well as customers and internal stakeholders to ensure the requirements of Clean TeQ Sunrise are met.
  • Develop a Supply Logistics and Infrastructure (L&I) Discipline Controls Assurance Framework to manage risks.
  • Develop Supply Logistics & Infrastructure business plans and right sized budgets to ensure the ongoing delivery of safe, efficient and cost-effective services.
  • Ensure the internal connection between sales, purchasing, production control, traffic, and warehousing to support Operations and optimise costs and delivery time.
  • Ensure the effective implementation of the strategy through leadership setting objectives, managing individual and team performance, developing and motivating staff.
  • Deliver an annual business improvement plan for Logistics to drive continuous improvement in HSE, logistics service delivery, and cost of service.
  • Develop Methodology to Manage operational performance (Supply, Logistics & Infrastructure) & establish a continuous improvement culture.
  • Provide direction and input to stakeholder groups for compliance with local content and social requirements.
  • Establish and maintain good relationship with government, community special interest groups and regulatory bodies associated with Supply, Logistics & Infrastructure.
  • Research, identify, and establish logistics resources/vendors for the Asset operations


What can you bring to the role?

  • Extensive experience in logistics and supply chain
  • Knowledge of SAP or similar ERP
  • Demonstrated experience setting up new operations business units
  • High-level analytical and numerical ability with strong problem-solving skills
  • Diploma in Logistics, Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management or equivalent.
  • Background in within the resources or manufacturing sector
  • Excellent communication & presentation skills
  • Stakeholder management experience
