Bayset is an Australian owned business supplying Waterproofing, Flooring and Concrete Repair materials to the trade.
We have a vacancy at our Ingleburn branch for an experienced Trade Counter Sales / Storeperson to assist the Branch Manager at our Ingleburn location with the day to day running of the branch.
Responsibilities include:
- Sales focused customer service both over the trade counter and phone.
- Developing relationships and identifying customer needs.
- Occasional delivery of customer orders.
- Picking & packing of orders including courier and transport
documentation. - Checking picked orders and transfers.
- Receipting and storage of goods in accordance with appropriate
procedures. - Housekeeping and upkeep of the Branch.
- Assist the Branch Manager with periodic stock checks to ensure
shrinkage is kept within company KPI's. - Ensure that all cash sales, invoices, purchase orders and transfers
are entered into the system in a accurate & timely manner. - Assist the Branch Manager with the maintenance and presentation of
the showroom to ensure this is kept within company guidelines. This
means Clean, Tidy and stocked. - Receive phone sales enquiries & follow up with quotes, product
enquiries etc. - Log phone sale enquiries for follow up by territory managers.
- Develop the ability to recommend substitutions should the need
arise.
Skills, experience and qualification requirements:
To be successful in this role you will possess outstanding customer service skills, have a committed and strong sales focus and be prepared to exceed customer expectations.
You will be well presented, have a good phone manner and possess good communication skills. You must be able to work with minimal supervision and have an eye for detail and the capacity to meet deadlines and follow tasks to completion. You will need to show demonstrated experience in warehousing and stock control along with a professional phone manner and confident computer skills. You must perform at your peak under pressure and be able to make quick and correct decisions when needed.
