We are family owned wholesaler and retailer of homewares.

We are seeking an experienced, self-motivated, reliable and team oriented Warehouse Assistant / Storeperson to join our small team in Tullamarine, Victoria.

This is a permanent casual role that requires you to work four days per week. As such we are looking for a driven and hard working person who will work efficiently and accurately four days per week, with the knowledge that their hours are consistent each and every week.

In addition the employee will be able to obtain paid leave every six months based on a performance review. 

The role is 'hands on' and key duties will include:

• Accurate receipt of incoming goods 
• Picking, preparing, packing and dispatching orders quickly and accurately
• Manage inventory / stock control
• Maintaining housekeeping and safety standards within the warehouse.
• Ensuring cartons and packing materials are reordered when need be
• Keeping the warehouse clean and tidy at all times

To be considered for, and be successful in this role, you will have the following skills / attributes:

• Previous hands-on warehouse experience.
• Excellent organisational skills.
• General Warehouse smarts
• Computer literacy 
• Team player, can-do attitude.
• Very reliable and punctual
• Fit and healthy, suitable for general warehouse work
• Motivated to succeed and provide customers with a high quality service
• Australian citizenship & permanent residency
