Our client located in Prestons is a rapidly expanding manufacturer and distributor of paint accessories and do it yourself modular flat packed storage solutions.They are currently looking for an experienced Warehouse Despatch Co-Ordinator to join their young and vibrant team.

This is a permanent position for the right applicant.

You would be entering a team that work together to achieve a common goal and love to have a laugh at work whilst getting the job done.

In a fast-paced warehouse, be responsible for the accurate and timely preparation of all facets of the despatch function. You will be experienced in preparing and handling oversized pallets, to best utilise the truck capacity available, and loading mezz-deck, b-double trailers.

Insisting on a high level of accuracy in packaging standards, labeling and consignment/manifest paperwork at all times. Tenacious in accuracy, records and data maintenance.

Responsibilities Include;

• Work safely so as not to cause damage or harm to yourself or others
• To ensure orders are, checked, labelled and palletised correctly at the point of despatch
• To ensure any variances found at point of despatch are checked, recorded and fixed in line with company policies and procedures.
• Ensure that the product is scanned, labelled, and packaged correctly and securely to ensure end user (customer) receives the goods in good order. 
• Monitor and report pallet density performance to the supervisor
• Ensure that data entered into the despatch system is 100% accurate and that all connoting and manifesting is in line with company expectations.
• Ensure that all pallet labeling is 100% accurate and that labels are placed in a visible position on the top right of each side of the pallet
• Load all despatch pallets onto appropriate vehicles in accordance with onsite safety, traffic flow procedures and chain of responsibility legislation.
• Unload/load any adhoc deliveries as required.
• Liaise with interstate counterparts on matters related to training, troubleshooting or general assistance.
• Ensure trailer movements are in accordance with service level agreement guidelines. Ensure all movements are dealt with in a timely fashion and any additional trailer requirements are communicated to the supervisor and manager as early as possible.
• Loscam pallet transfers on every manifest to be 100% at all times.
• Loscam weekly count be carried out and reported back to supervisor. Additional counts as required and requested
• Ensure all administration duties are done on time
