We are recruiting for the position of Aircraft Maintenance Engineer - Mechanical located at RAAF Base Williamtown.

The Mechanical Aircraft Maintenance Engineer is responsible for the maintenance and modification of F/A-18 airframe and engine systems within the scope of their applicable training, competency and task authorisation. 

Responsibilities will include:

• Aircraft handling and servicing duties
• Removal and installation of aircraft components
• Disassembly and reassembly of aircraft components
• Preparation and use of aircraft support equipment

To be successful you will have:

• Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Mechanical) or equivalent trade qualifications
• Be able to demonstrate a sound knowledge of aviation Quality Assurance (QA) procedures, aircraft maintenance / modification operating procedures and documentation
• Demonstrate the ability to work in a team
