The Role

We currently have an opening for a Cartage Coordinator in our Brisbane Office. The role will be responsible for the coordination of transport services and will also conduct a variety of administrative and customer service functions as required.

 

The role will be mainly focused on FCL and LCL deliveries however may also include some Export and Airfreight transportation.

 

Basic responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Transport coordination
  • Schedule negotiation with customers and carriers
  • Quoting and report preparation
  • Rate review and negotiation
  • All aspects of customer service
  • Administration

 

In addition to having a minimum of 2 years’ experience in Cartage or Transport coordination, our ideal candidate will possess the following skills and attributes:

 

  • Successful completion of QCE or equivalent
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to manage complex scenarios
  • Strong record keeping skills
  • Strong computer and MS Office skills including Outlook, Excel and Word
  • High personal standards of honesty, integrity and professionalism
  • A good team approach
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
