We are currently seeking an experienced General Manager, a resilient leader who is keen to make a significant contribution to this successful business during an exciting phase of growth and organisational change. This leading building products manufacturer operates from multiple sites across Victoria, Western Australia and the ACT with their head office located in Melbourne.
Reporting to the Managing Director, the General Manager has full P&L accountability and will ensure that manufacturing best practice is implemented and adhered to across all sites and implement cost effective plant and capital budgets and initiatives which contribute significantly to overall business performance.
Key responsibilities include overseeing all facets of the business including managing and optimising plant efficiency, driving sustainable sales growth and client satisfaction. As head of the leadership group, the General Manager must provide direction and achieve operational effectiveness through the management of health and safety, a supportive team culture and guidance, leadership and mentoring to the leadership team.
