About the business and the role
Vetlab is a family-owned animal health contract manufacturing business based in St Marys, Sydney. Due to continued growth we are seeking an experienced Chemical Plant Operator to join our team.
Reporting directly to the Vetlab Operations Manager, the successful candidate will help to drive our operations to promote higher output in our animal health manufacturing business while maintaining the highest standards of safety. We are looking for someone proactive and flexible. Experience working in a GMP environment is preferred.
Job tasks and responsibilities
- Manufacture animal health products as directed by Operations Manager in compliance with GMP and company policies.
- Review safety each day and report to Operations Manager.
- Accurate and timely completion of batch documentation.
- Ensure QC samples are provided for analysis in a timely manner.
- Implement cleaning processes.
Skills and experience
- Current fork lift license.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Ability to adapt to change on a daily basis as directed by Operations Manager.
- Reliable work ethic.
- Flexibility to work overtime when required.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Experience working in a GMP environment preferred.
