Trojan Recruitment Group is looking for a Plastics Die Setter to work in Gepps Cross. Our client is Australia's number one brand of electrical accessories. There is a current opportunity for a Trade Qualified Die Setter with previous experience within a similar industry, to work on a casual on-going basis.
Key Duties and Responsibilities include (but not limited to):-
- Die Setting
- Die Changes
- Plastic Injection Moulding
- Setting Machines
- Operating Machines
- Quality Control and checking of first moulds
- Start and shutdown Machines
- Programming of injection moulding machines
To be eligible for the role you must have the following skills/experience:-
- Cert IV in Polymer Processing Advantageous- Trade Certificates in Die Setting, Dial Trialling and Injection Moulding A MUST
- Experience with SMED/QDC Essential
- Be familiar with Battenfields and Arbugs (Engels is a BONUS)
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- A strong safety focus
- Current resume with two recent and contactable work references
- Hold a current Drivers Licence and have reliable transport
- Participate in drug and alcohol testing if required
