The HB Group is currently looking for a Warehouse & Site Maintenance Leader responsible for the receipt, storage and dispatch of products, as well as general site maintenance and presentation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Managing all incoming and outgoing stock using Warehouse Information Management System
• Coordinating order dispatch and liaising with 3rd party logistics providers to ensure delivery on time
• Ensure our obligations under the Heavy Vehicle National Law are met
• Picking and packing of orders for on-time delivery
• Accurate record keeping and reporting including stock on hand, using Warehouse Information Management System
• Ensuring effective stock management including monitoring seed quality and stock take
• Overseeing and planning the work of seasonal warehouse staff that are employed from time to time
• Site maintenance and presentation including, but not limited to mowing, watering, pest control, basic maintenance and coordination of third party tradespeople as required
• Assist with general farm duties including irrigation, weed control and planting preparation
• Maintaining warehouse in a neat, orderly and efficient fashion for safe work
• Actively participate in and be a role model for the development of a safe and healthy workplace
• Take reasonable care to ensure own health and safety and that of others
• Ensure adherence to safety policies and procedures
• Ensure workers are equipped with the information, training, equipment and supervision that they need to work safely
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• Cert III Warehousing preferred
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in warehousing preferably in Ag industry
• Current drivers licence; Truck licence (HR or HC) preferred
• Current forklift ticket
• Proven people management skills
• Experience using scanners and other logistics technologies
• General maintenance and repairs skills
• Hands on work ethic
• A strong commitment to safety
• Proficient user of MS Word, Excel & Outlook
