The Role
As the South Australian Hire Manager your core responsibility is to manage the daily operations of the business and ensure a hands-on approach to deliver customer service excellence. This will include, but not be limited to:
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead the operational activities for the site including the hiring and delivery of all hire equipment
- Coaching, mentoring and ongoing development of the hire team
- Continue to build, develop and maintain key customer relationships within the SA region
- Continual development and maintaining product knowledge, industry updates and competitor activity
- Management of business P&L, ensuring cost efficiencies are maintained
- Leading and ensuring excellence in customer service
- Managing the accuracy of all documentation to ensure it is approved and processed according to company processes and procedures
- Provide accurate business feedback via a monthly manager report and project pipeline
- Ensure all stock movements are recorded and processed correctly and within stocktake parameters
- Insure accuracy with monthly invoicing, quotations, purchase orders and associated hire documentation
- Promote and maintain and safety-first environment with both internal & external stakeholders
Skills / Experience / Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong People Management, leadership and coaching skills
- Strong computer skills and reporting skills
- Ability to build relationships, strong selling skills and source business growth opportunities
- Attention to detail, ability to adapt to a changing environment
- Experience with Workplace Health and Safety practices
- Strong time management, planning and organisation skills
