We are currently expanding our operations both domestically and globally and we are seeking a Purchasing Officer/ Analyst to join our Company on a casual basis (can be up to 3 fixed days per week or other similar fixed weekly patterns).

Reporting to the Material Supply and Purchasing Manager, You will be mainly responsible for purchasing and sourcing goods and services according to requirements, ensuring on-time delivery, and facilitating purchasing process improvement.  You will also work closely with Manufacturing, R&D, Product Design, Marketing, Services, and Quality.

Key responsibilities of this role:

  • Support purchasing and sourcing activities, including raising purchase orders to suppliers and following through. 
  • Analyse purchasing parameters in ERP system and support process improvements
  • Collect business parameters and others’ inputs, and prepare summaries and reports
  • Assist in quality follow-up, supplier agreement management, and other documentations    
  • Comply with Quality Management System policies and procedures.
  • Comply with Occupational, Health and Safety policies and procedures.

The experience & skills necessary to succeed in the role...

  • Tertiary qualifications in business operations or relevant disciplines.
  • Basic knowledge of purchasing process and ERP systems, ideally with 1-3 years relevant experience.
  • Strong working knowledge in MS Office, and other related tools. 
  • Good analytical skills and be adaptable to new environment.
  • Previous working experience in a manufacturing environment desirable.
  • Previous experience in a medical device manufacturing or similar highly regulated environment would be a plus.
