About the position
The main duties of these roles will be to deliver a variety of chiller Single and B-Double loads of dairy products to a variety of locations. This role will not involve interstate or extreme distances. Electric pallet jack unloading will be required on some deliveries. Alternative duties may include coverage of yard operator shifts.
Reporting to the Operations Manager the successful applicant will be responsible for:
- Participating and committing to Safety Standards and COR requirements at all times
- Providing excellent customer service during pickups and deliveries
- Completing correct load restraints and manual handling techniques
- Assisting with the loading and unloading of vehicles
- Safe operation of your allocated vehicles including driving to conditions, performing pre start checks and coupling and uncoupling and reversing procedures
About you
The successful applicant will possess the following:
- A current MC license
- Be able to identify and report all Hazards & Risks and demonstrate a commitment to safe work practices
- Flexibility to accommodate rotating start times and overtime if required
- Ability to operate in a chiller and cool room environment
