Rental Coordinator

National Pump & Energy (NPE) is a leader in the provision of pump, power and compressed air equipment and services.

With a team of highly experienced industry professionals, we have a strong focus on understanding our customers' equipment rental requirements and delivering solutions that work. We have tailored our extensive rental fleet and specialist capabilities to provide effective and reliable pumping, power generation and compressed air solutions for any application or industry. Key accountabilities for this position:

Reporting to the Branch Manager, the key responsibilities of the role is as follows:

  • Coordinate equipment and plant rental processes for customers, ensuring that the customer receives equipment suitable to their needs within required timeframes
  • Accurately maintain all records and documentation associated with rental equipment
  • Coordinate logistics for rental equipment
  • Coordinate the maintenance, damage repairs and servicing of rental equipment in accordance with required standards
  • Promote all rental equipment and NPE services to ensure continued growth and a high level of service
  • Carry out and manage branch administration duties including but not limited to processing of purchase orders, invoicing, branch reporting requirements and travel bookings
  • Assist with other branch/yard duties as required.

 

Key competencies & skills:

  • Customer service experience, particularly with large client accounts
  • Well-developed communication skills
  • Proficient in computer applications & systems (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, & CRM software)
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritise tasks under pressure and strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability negotiate & develop relationships with a range of clients/suppliers
  • Team player
  • Demonstrated ability showing flexibility & initiative with limited direction or supervision
  • Demonstrated previous experience in equipment rental/hire industry (desirable)
  • Previous Hire or Rental Coordinator/Controller experience (desirable)
  • Current c-class driver's license (essential)
  • Must be able to pass Pre-employment Medical, Musclo-Skeletal, Fitness for Work, and DAS;
  • National Police Clearance (where required).
