Our client is a leader in the design, development and manufacturing industry with multiple warehouses located throughout Australia. They offer an extensive range of services and pride themselves on delivering expert advice to their customers and dealer networks.

Due to business growth they are currently seeking an experienced Warehouse/ Assembler to join their team. This position will have an immediate start date and is based in western Sydney with parking available onsite.

The role is required to accurately assemble components to specifications in line with schedules. It will also include the carrying out of warehouse duties to ensure efficient stock control and movement.

Your day to day duties will include, but not limited to:

• Assemble products according to instructions and drawing specifications
• Ensure all assembled products meet quality assurance standards and delivery deadlines
• Carry out product repairs safely and efficiently
• Use forklift or other equipment to safely unload and load component deliveries and finished products for production and dispatch
• Undertake inventory management duties
• Participate in stock take when required
• Perform housekeeping duties to ensure stock is safely stored
• Complete all inward goods or goods transfer documentation accurately as required

To be successful you will need to meet the below criteria:

• Proven minimum 2 years’ experience in a production, warehousing and logistics environment
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• MUST have current and valid forklift and other mobile equipment license
• MUST have valid and current full driver’s license, manual advantageous
• Intermediate computer skills
• Safety conscious with the ability to apply correct practices and principles in place regarding manual handling and maintenance
• MUST be a team player
