Due to outstanding growth within our busy Sydney branch, Border Express currently has a casual opportunity available for an experienced and motivated Strapper to join the PM team (hours approx. 5pm-10pm, Monday-Friday).
The position of a strapper is responsible for preparing vehicles for loading and unloading by drawing back curtains and removing gates in a safe and effective manner, and where requested secure the load prior to departure and other general yard duties as required.
We are looking for an extremely motivated fit person who is flexible in their approach to work, is a quick learner and possess a strong team and work ethic and must be able to work as directed.
Our ideal candidate must possess the following key skills and experience:
- Transport Industry experience preferable but not essential;
- Ability to adhere to OHS & Safety Regulations;
- Work in a team environment;
- A current Forklift Licence is advantageous however not essential.
