About Harry & Larry’s Ice Cream

In 1994 Harry & Larry's began manufacturing ice cream for our own retail stores. Over the years this has developed into a modern commercial plant in Brunswick. In 2002 Harry & Larry's commenced wholesaling activities, supplying other ice cream retailers, major supermarkets, airlines and restaurants. A new state of the art facility is currently being built in Hadfield, we are due to commence production there in mid-2018.

About the role

We are a rapidly growing, family owned ice cream manufacturer, operating in Brunswick for the past 20+ years. We are currently expanding to a larger site over the coming months. We require a motivated, experienced storeperson to work as part of a team in our warehouse. The position will be casual with the potential for full time after a probation period. Warehouse experience and a forklift licence are a must. Experience in the food industry preferred but not essential

Skills and experience

• Willing to work in freezers with temperatures of -25°C
• Ability to work as part of a team and unsupervised
• Display initiative
• Be flexible with hours as we work 7 days a week and often afternoon/evenings
• Be able to comply with our food safety regulations which includes good personal hygiene
• Able to complete paperwork to a high standard that meets our quality requirements
• Be capable of working in a fast paced and often physically demanding environment, while complying with OH&S requirements
• Show great communication skills
• Be able to manage your time efficiently
• Show ability to organise areas of the warehouse, control inventory and problem solve.
• Be self motivated and energetic
