The company develops and manufactures unique patent protected technology linked to power energy sources with consumer electronics and wider industrial applications. It is an emerging supplier to global OEM’s. Product and manufacturing development is in Sydney and volume manufacturing in Asia. This appointment is to head up manufacturing. There is an ongoing drive for continuous improvement, cost effective production and quality consistency measured by minimal reject rates and customer satisfaction levels. Flexible manufacturing processes aligned to new and current products and the transfer of technology to outsourced manufacturing partners is critical to success.

In competing as a value adding supplier to global OEM’s, the cost base and margins achieved relate directly to efficiency, low error rates, sustainable quality and product reliability. The manufacturing professional we seek will join the Executive Team with a strong focus on driving continuous improvement whilst shaping performance of in-house as well as external manufacturing partners. Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Chemical or Process Engineering will be preferred as will be an industry base in bespoke manufacturing where products are designed, manufactured and tested to the highest quality standards to meet customer specifications. Experience in identifying, negotiating, transferring technology and know-how, building relationships with global manufacturing partners and the creation of flexible manufacturing processes will be integral to your success.
