Fleet Controller - Weekend Shift

Toll People are recruiting for a Fleet Controller to join one of our contract teams based near the Perth Airport. Your primary objective will be to direct, co-ordinate and supervise our fleet to ensure all safety and service objectives are achieved.
You will be responsible for
- Promoting a safe, positive work environment and alignment with management objectives
- Coordinating and supervising a fleet of company and subcontractor vehicles
- Ensuring key service objectives and KPI’s are met on one of our major contracts
- Utilise assets in a cost effective manner
- Manage customer relations
- Ensuring all legislative requirements are met
- Working hours/conditions
- 4 days on 3 days off
- Friday to Monday roster
- Hours are approximately 2:00pm - 10:00pm
To be successful in this role you will have the following:
- Previous experience in a similar role within the Transport industry
- Experience working in a fast paced pickup/Delivery environment
- Strong customer service focus
- High level of organisational skills
- The ability to analyse information and make appropriate decisions quickly
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Be a great team player with the ability to influence in a positive manner
- Skills in; Excel, Word and Outlook and experience using in-house Fleet /Freight databases
