The position
We have an exciting opportunity for a Branch Manager across multiple Sydney Metropolitan Cleanaway Liquid & Hazardous Waste Services sites. You will drive operations, achieving top and bottom line growth whilst delivering a high level of service to your new and existing customers. You will also be responsible for the following:
- Monitoring and managing activities of the branch whist achieving operational targets and growth
- Responsible for P&L reporting, budget preparation, forecasting reviews and financial performance
- Performance reviews, talent management and succession planning
- Develop and introduce new and revised operational improvement programs
- Developing and delivering capital investment and preventative maintenance programs driving sustainable and measurable increases in plant performance
- Driving Continuous Improvement, Lean Manufacturing initiatives, Sales & Operations Planning and plant equipment effectiveness
Skills and experience
To be successful for the position of Branch Manager you will have proven experience in a similar role providing leadership and managing operations within a manufacturing or operations business. You will also require the following skills and experience:
- Significant experience in managing complex production and/or manufacturing operations
- High level of commercial acumen and numeracy
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence decisions
- Proven experience in safety leadership and performance in a heavily compliance driven environment
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline including Engineering, Supply Chain or Manufacturing with a strong financial background
