We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager who is seeking a great long term permanent role in a growing company.

We are seeking a positive, motivated person with previous warehouse management experience to lead the team and ensure that the warehouse operates smoothly and efficiently.

You will be required to manage, mentor and support a team of warehouse staff and ensure delivery of products to our customers. A tight inventory control in a highly seasonal fast moving consumer goods warehousing & coldroom environment will need to be maintained. You will optimize the efficiency of the warehouse while ensuring adherence to regulations, policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Introduce ‘Best Practice’ warehouse and site management systems that optimise stock movement and warehouse layout
• Review, plan and manage permanent and casual staff according to the needs of the business
• Manage and promote company QA and WHS
• Ensure the efficient and prompt receipt of all inbound shipments to ensure that all stock is available as quickly as possible
• Coordinate and manage stock transfers across Australia
• Liaise with clients, suppliers and transport companies
• Inventory Control including maintaining stock control, controlled storage and handling and regular stocktaking
• Implement and streamline warehouse processes, safety and systems
• Ensure compliance with all warehousing, handling and shipping legislation requirements
• Maintaining both external (Customer) and internal working relationships
• Manage staff training requirements
• Maintenance of property plant and equipment

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years' experience in similar role
• Proven experience introducing and delivering new systems and procedures that promote continuous improvement
• Forklift Licence and high reach experience
• Exceptional people leadership and business management skills
• Good time management skills
• High level to attention to detail
• Drivers Licence
• Excellent written, verbal, negotiation and all-round interpersonal skills.
