The Opportunity? Health Safety and Environment Site Manager based at one of our leading depos (Eastern Creek) where you will be responsible for partnering with operational and commercial teams on all HSE activities

Partnering with HSE Advisors to implement regional HSE initiatives by providing technical assistance in the identification, evaluation, and control of workplace hazards.

The Role:

• Provide HSE specialist advice and technical support to the Operational Managers and Supervisors and leadership team

• Support the business to manage and maintain the HSE risk profile, risk assessment and risk management processes

• Lead and support organisational change to achieve a positive safety culture and achievement of HSE objectives and targets

• Oversee, lead and manage HSE governance processes including HSE audits, incident investigation activities and management reviews

• Engage with the senior leadership team to ensure HSE responsibilities and expectations are understood and enacted by all

• Implement approved risk assessment techniques to prevent, mitigate and manage HSE risks

• Support the implementation and maintenance of external HSE certifications

• Conduct and lead incident investigations (ICAM Methodology preferred)

The Candidate:

• 5-7+ years in a senior HSE leadership role

• High level of Microsoft skills in Word, Excel and PowerPoint

• Excellent working knowledge of HSE

• Experience in working in large complex global organisations

• Experience in working in supply chain is preferred

• Financial and commercial acumen

• Strong time management and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work within tight deadlines

• A strong commitment to continuously apply and influence best practice standards
