Queensland Pre-Stressing Pty Ltd (QPS) has earned the reputation of an Industry leader in Specialist Ground Engineering services. QPS works throughout Australia on a variety of construction projects requiring retention techniques including Rock Anchoring, Drilling, Grouting, Piling and Specialised steel fabrication.
We require a very well organised, safety-conscious person to fill the role of Yardman. The successful applicant will bring a positive work ethic and can-do attitude and be able to work under minimal supervision and as part of a team with changing work demands. This position reports directly to the Purchasing and Logistics Manager and is based at our Northgate workshop.
Main duties this role includes
- Loading and unloading trucks (forklift license required).
- General yard duties.
- Pickup and delivery of goods (HR licence preferred).
- Construction Induction white/blue card (required).
- HIAB/Crane truck experience (advantageous).
