Four Category Management opportunities within the Adelaide CBD for a period upto 9 months.
Your new company
This is a strong and secure government department that is based in the Adelaide CBD and due to its management of a significant project, there is a need to increase their talent pool by introducing 4 additional Category Manager to join their growing team.
Your new role
You will be responsible for undertaking sourcing and contract management activities related to a designated category to ensure; value for money is realised, contract deliver the required outcomes, and risks are appropriately managed through the procurement process. You will ensure that strategies are executed, procurement, contract management and negotiation strategies compliance with government policy and appropriate measures are taken to ensure commercial risk is managed.
What you'll need to succeed
Your previous experience working within a similar roe and exposure to medical equipment will be highly desirable. You will understand the government procurement processes and have excellent stakeholder management experience. Your ability to understand multiple procurement scenarios and provide accurate and consistent procurement advice coupled with adjusting to the changing priorities of the team will put you in excellent stead to succeed. Your strong contracting background and excellent negotiation skills will see you hit the ground running in this role.
