Our client is currently seeking to appoint a self motivated, organised and customer focussed individual to join their dynamic Operations team.
Reporting to the Operations Supervisor your responsibilities will include:
- Taking a high volume of bookings
- Entering all jobs into the in-house computer system ensuring that all information is entered is accurate
- Providing excellent customer service at all times and acting with a strong sense of urgency
- Developing and maintaining excellent professional relationships with existing Clients and Sub Contractors
- Supporting the sales team as required to ensure customers needs are met in a timely manner
- Monitoring performance of Operators and performance managing when required
- Promoting Services to clients
- Working as part of a team
- Assisting with debt collection, claims and disputes.
In order to succeed in this fast paced and challenging environment, you will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:
- Ability to work well under pressure and think quickly on your feet!
- Experience working within an operations or Transport environment dealing with Customers and Sub Contractors/Owner operators/Drivers
- Possess excellent communication skills including excellent customer service and telephone manner
- Have sound computer skills with a high attention to detail
- Excellent time management with a strong sense of urgency
- Be able to work effectively within a team environment
