Toll People are seeking experienced HC/MC drivers for the transfer & delivery of palletized, container freight including dangerous goods to local destinations in the greater Brisbane area. Working Monday to Friday, early mornings, days or afternoons.
The positions are based out of Tennyson and the hours are Monday to Friday, with possibly some weekend work too. Our client is experiencing a peak season and will be operating both day shifts and afternoon shifts. Immediate starts are available for suitable candidates and the positions may lead to permanent placements within the Toll Group.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- HC or MC licence
- Extensive experience carting containers and palletized freight
- A current MSIC card is preferred
- DG Licence and Rail PIN are an advantage
- Experience in commercial truck driving in Brisbane and knowledge of the area
- The ability to reverse into difficult areas is essential
- Positive attitude and good customer service skills
- A high safety initiative
- Ability to perform some manual handling tasks
- Safe driving history
Additionally you will need to supply 100 points of ID, copies of current driver medical and be willing to undertake a recent National Police clearance at Interview.
