We have an opportunity for an enthusiastic Systems and Inventory Controller to join our Operations division within the Packaged Products and Terminals (PPT) team.

Based in Auburn, Sydney you'll be the "go to" person for the team. You'll get involved in everything from ordering equipment and purchase orders to dispatch, inventory control and training system management. One minute you could be analysing stock and production variances and the next dealing with freight providers and drivers. Your reputation for impressive attention to detail and organisational skills helps you manage the pace of work and is further complemented by a natural customer service focus.

We are keen to hear from you if you have had exposure to inventory control and systems but more of a priority for us is your can-do attitude, willingness to learn and process orientation that will bring value to the role.

As a Systems and Inventory Controller you will:

  • Develop and maintain constructive and cooperative working relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders
  • Control inventory, stock and cycle counts for all PPT NSW SKU's, including investigating and correcting variances and reporting
  • Ensure customer delivery requirements are met and supply issues are resolved promptly
  • Coordinate warehousing and distribution activities, including documentation, liaising with 3rd party providers and pallet management
  • Support Safety, Health and Environment compliance through system and database management, including the Learning Management System (training management)
  • Provide purchasing and general administrative support to the NSW PPT team

Requirements

 

  • Exposure to warehouse, manufacturing, distribution or similar operations
  • A strong Customer Service focus and the confidence to work with and influence a wide range of stakeholders including customers, suppliers and other Operations team members
  • Excellent attention to detail and an aptitude for working with numbers
  • Experience or exposure to inventory control and reporting including inventory systems (e.g. SAP)
  • Be computer savvy with experience using Word, Excel and other database systems
  • Willingness to learn and tackle any challenge that comes your way
