The company services the Agricultural, Government, Industrial and Residential markets and engages in significant project work which includes the design and installation of water management systems and supply of product to both retail and wholesale customers.
The company has an exciting opportunity for an experienced supply chain and general data base analyst to join our head office team located in Sydney.
Some key areas of focus for this role:
- Ensure our supply data ( pricing, contacts, contracts and rebates) are updated in a timely fashion and remain relevant and accurate at all times
- Look for and identify trends within our company data files generally that can aid decision making, improve profitability and contribute to ongoing company best practice
- Provide regular and accurate reporting that assists management in monitoring business performance and on-going strategic decision making
- Maintain supply channel relationships at an operational level including price monitoring, system maintenance, effectively communicate with our branch stakeholders and assist inventory planning and control.
Skills and Experience required for this role:
- 2.5 years’ experience gained in a similar role
- Previous exposure to supply chain and inventory analysis highly desirable
- Demonstrated advanced Excel and data base analysis skills essential
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including well developed report writing and presentation
- Exposure to general data base analysis/ interface tools and ERP systems
- Ability to work independently with good time management skills
- Degree or Diploma in business, technology, supply chain management or general operations management
