We are an Australian owned multi-national Wholesaler/Manufacturer/Supplier of Automotive spares & Aftermarket Performance Products.
You will be working with superbly engineered products for automotive and industrial disciplines including; OEM, Street Performance, 4x4, Motorsport and specialised transport. Work alongside people who are passionate about what they do and proud of our business heritage over the last 60+ years.
You will be enthusiastic, reliable, have a willingness to learn, ability to follow instructions and an overall positive attitude.
We are looking for an experienced Purchasing Coordinator with a keen eye for detail
Working within a highly focused team you will work closely with the sales and manufacturing departments to ensure optimisation of inventory quantities and delivery requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
· Place purchase orders for inventory and expense items generated via the ERP system.
· Ensure parts and materials are bought at competitive prices and delivered on time.
· Monitor suppliers to ensure cost, quality and delivery adherence
· Provide support to the Purchasing Warehouse Supervisor, including delivery dates and lead times
· Liase with sales, manufacturing and engineering departments to ensure smooth flow of requirements.
You will possess the following:
· Demonstrated working experience in Procurement in a manufacturing environment
· Good computer skills utilising MRP/ERP systems
· Preferred background would be from a metals manufacturing or automotive type industry
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and produce results.
· Well ordered sense of priority
