About the role:
Reporting to the Import & Logistics Manager, you will be responsible for assisting with supply chain solutions to support business development and success, whilst supporting the overall logistics and import function. This role requires someone with previous logistics experience who is willing to think outside of the box and use their initiative to make their mark on this exciting role.
This is a 6 month fixed term contract.
SOME key responsibilities for the role will include:
- Analyse and suggest improvements in the supply chain network to drive efficiencies.
- Lead internal logistics projects in conjunction with the Supply Chain team and other key stakeholders, reporting back on ROI.
- Manage replenishment processes for consolidation projects.
- Manage and analyse all logistical reporting requirements.
- Support the Import team in invoicing processes.
- Manages replenishment parameters for supplier and product scheduling.
- Assist with stock replenishment and allocations.
- Manages end to end purchase orders.
And to be successful in the role you must have:
- Demonstrated capability in logistics or supply chain analysis, preferable in a retail environment.
- Knowledge in Inventory Management, Analysis and Replenishment processes.
- Strong numerical skills
- Excellent organisational skills
- Advanced computer literacy in Microsoft Office – particularly Excel
- Strong attention to detail
- Has a passion for their team and customers
- Positive and can do attitude
- Great interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to be flexible in order to meet changing work conditions
- Ability to prioritize and manage conflicting priorities
